Marvin Lithwick* has had an extremely varied legal career following his call to the Bar in 1983. He has been with the same law firm for the past 43 years (now rebranded as Nexa Legal). Initially, solicitors work formed a significant portion of Marvin’s practice, alongside a growing civil litigation practice. Over time Marvin’s practice shifted away from solicitors work to mostly corporate/commercial/estate litigation. Approximately 15 years ago, Marvin started to restrict his practice to estate litigation and related areas. His evolution has now brought him to the point that he is restricting his practice to appointments as a personal representative (executor or administrator), primarily when an independent/neutral personal representative is required for disputed estates. Marvin was also the managing partner of his mid-size law firm from 1999 until 2019.

Marvin’s priority is to facilitate solutions, no matter what the subject matter, as expeditiously, inexpensively and amicably as possible.

While Marvin keeps current with all aspects of estate litigation, his focus now is his practice as a personal representative. His varied legal and practical experience is invaluable to this practice as the issues/problems he encounters call upon every aspect of that experience. Also, when requested, Marvin’s experience and temperament also have him, as a neutral party, assisting parties to navigate through their disputes.
