Katy MacEwan obtained her law degree from Thompson Rivers University and was called to the Bar in 2018 after completing her articles with Kahn Zack Ehrlich Lithwick LLP. Prior to attending law school, Katy obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia. While at law school, Katy was heavily involved with the Student Law Society at TRU, acting as class representative as well as taking part in the Wilson Moot. Between her second and third year of law school, Katy volunteered for the Legal Resource Centre at Atira Women’s Resource Society.

In her spare time, Katy is an avid equestrian and enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
