Hal Oreck’s* practice focuses on advising privately held corporations on all matters including contracts, leasing, mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.  He is legal counsel for various mortgage lenders both for their financings and their foreclosures.  Hal also has a busy estate planning and administration practice. He has appeared before both the Supreme Court of B.C. and the Provincial Court.  Hal is a licensed mortgage broker and manages Pacific Coast Mortgage Investment Corporation.

Prior to practicing law, Hal spent seven years working in Trading Credit Risk Management at the Royal Bank of Canada. Hal is active in the local sports community, on the board of directors of Trout Lake Little League and an avid basketball fan (and occasional player much to his knee surgeon’s chagrin).
