About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Khean* is a founder and the Managing Partner of Nexa.
Elizabeth’s core practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions. She has acted as counsel for purchasers and vendors in numerous multi-jurisdictional transactions including cross-border transactions involving foreign purchasers.
She also has extensive experience negotiating commercial transactions and advising on matters related to corporate governance, secured lending, corporate reorganizations, compliance issues and various general corporate and commercial matters.
She represents clients across a variety of industries at all stages of development, from senior private companies, family enterprises, startups and entrepreneurs.
The most rewarding part of Elizabeth’s practice is cultivating often decades-long relationships with her clients which allows her to have a deep understanding of her clients’ business so that she can offer pragmatic strategic advice to help them achieve their desired outcomes.
Prior to founding Nexa, Elizabeth was the Managing Partner at Kahn Zack Ehrlich Lithwick LLP. She also previously practiced at a downtown Vancouver law firm for several years and, before attending law school, worked at a private equity firm.
