About Bahaa
Bahaa represents and advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial, real estate, secured lending and wills and estates matters. Bahaa also has experience in security realization and insolvency litigation with an emphasis on residential and commercial foreclosure and retail collections, having represented institutional lenders, Mortgage Investment Corporations and private lenders. Bahaa has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal successfully on numerous occasions, including most recently: Bank of Montreal v. Lee, 2024 BCSC 2236 and Bank of Montreal v Lee, 2025 BCSC 115.
Bahaa provides detail oriented and practical legal advice to his clients. His experience in both a solicitors and litigation practice allows him to see any potential pitfalls of transactions. Prior to joining Nexa, Bahaa articled with Oreck Karby.
Bahaa is one of two Chaldean lawyers in the province and is an active member of his local church and community. Bahaa also speaks fluent Aramaic and is an avid car-enthusiast having spent several years in the automotive industry before becoming a lawyer.
